Frequently asked questions

What is a physiotherapist?

Physiotherapists are university-trained experts in diagnosing and treating injuries, prescribing exercise, preventing injury and rehabilitation, across many areas of sport, health and fitness.

Are there physiotherapy specialists?

Yes. PhysioFit365 works with professionals who have advanced training in manual therapy, sport therapy, work-related therapy and other disciplines.

Do you really treat at home?

Yes. We come to you in and around Rojales. Treating you in your own surroundings is more comfortable, and a session usually lasts 45 to 60 minutes, sometimes shorter or longer.

Which languages do you speak?

Mellany speaks English, Dutch and Spanish, so you can describe your complaint in the language you are most comfortable with.

Which complaints can you treat?

Common reasons are pain, recovery after surgery, muscle strengthening, work-related injuries and sport injuries. Not sure? Send us a message and we will advise you.

What does a treatment cost?

Send us a message or call and you will hear the price up front, before any appointment is made. Asking a question costs nothing.

Does my insurance cover the treatment?

That depends on your policy. Ask your insurer whether and how physiotherapy at home is covered, ideally before the first appointment.

Do I need a doctor's referral?

For private physiotherapy, usually not. Your insurer may require a prescription, so check this if you want to claim.

What should I have ready for the first visit?

Medical reports or scans if you have them, a list of your medication and comfortable clothes. A quiet spot in the house is enough to start.

How many treatments will I need?

That varies by complaint and by person. After the first assessment we discuss what you can expect.

How do I get in touch?

Use the contact form, call us or email info@physiofit365.com. We are available Monday to Friday, 15:00 to 21:00.

Not sure which treatment fits?

Describe your complaint and we will advise you.
